Commercial Director
Hiroshi serves as Commercial Director for Summit Energy Evolution Limited(SEEL). He oversees finance, accounting, legal and insurance functions while leading the commercial aspects for flagship projects such as Bacton, Peak Cluster and Orion.
A professional with over a decade of experience across traditional oil & gas, power and the emerging decarbonisation sector, Hiroshi joined Sumitomo Corporation in 2011. He began his career in the energy and infrastructure sector, specialising in tubular supply, before moving into investment risk evaluation and strategic project support, where he built a strong foundation in commercial and financial analysis.
Hiroshi later progressed into the energy transition domain, leading business development initiatives and driving CCUS strategy, European market development and CCU projects, including carbon removal initiatives, playing a key role in shaping Sumitomo’s low-carbon growth strategy across Europe. Prior to his current role, Hiroshi served as Department General Manager of the CCUS business in the Nordic region, based in Oslo, until the end of 2025.
